I am Jason Harrell owner of Front 9 Box and Grizzly Bear Golf Cars. I started my business with a vision to inspire, motivate, and empower people through the game of golf. My mission is to help golfers achieve their goals while having fun doing it.
I frequently get asked about how I got started in the business side of Golf...
I remember taking my son to golf lessons and walking through the pro shop that day. As I walked around looking at all of the many different products and items that were on the shelves, I had several different thoughts that came to mind.
First, how does one know which is really going to help them get better? Second, my son being only 9, I'm going to go broke supporting his love for this game! (Only partly joking of course) My third thought was the one that sparked this movement. That classic "there has to be a better way!"
From that day I sat out on the path to make a way to lower the cost of golf for enthusiasts like my son and I.
Where are things today?
After starting down that path, we have started an online community for players and parents alike that is focused on sharing those amazing deals on gear and equipment that we find that isn't available elsewhere.
We have also started this AMAZING online marketplace that we focus on providing top-quality golf accessories and training aids. This grew into providing all of the clubs, apparel, balls, and bags. Basically, if you need it for the course, we can help you get it!
